My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in meeting Liberty, please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php

Liberty, born approximately 1/9/23, is a sweet and friendly girl. She was rescued from a colony at a business complex and came to us as a friendly mom of five kittens. She has been a good mom and enjoys attention from her humans. She hangs out in the living area and will come to you for attention and affection. She has occasionally gotten on the bed with us. While she still has not shown herself to be a lap cat, she has become more affectionate the longer she has been with us.

She has adjusted well to being indoors where she is safe and secure. She has also learned to play and can be seen playing with mice, balls or her kittens. It is wonderful to watch a cat experience the joy of playing when they have not had the chance to do so previously.

She would be best as an only or with one of her kittens. She seems to not like most of the cats in the foster home and barely tolerates some of them. She will not be good with dogs.

If you are looking for a sweet kitty that is affectionate but not demanding of your time and you have some patience and time to continue showing her how wonderful and secure indoor living is, please consider Liberty.

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Please complete our adoption questionnaire at http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php

Our kitties are FeLV tested (negative), spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. However, since the majority of our kitties are rescued from local high-kill shelters or 'from the streets', their backgrounds are unknown and we cannot guarantee the temperament or any unforeseen health problems that may arise with rescued animals. Our kitties are housed in foster homes in Sacramento County, California. Potential adopters are selected through an adoption screening process. There is a nominal adoption fee that goes towards the care of the kitties.
