Meet Georgia, a sweet Cattle Dog mix with the biggest heart (and ears!) you’ve ever seen. She might be part cattle dog, but don't let that fool you—this girl is all about cozy couch time over herding. She’s super smart and eager to please, so she’ll thrive with some fun activities like agility training, but honestly, she’s a total house dog at heart.
Georgia’s already familiar with the comforts of home, is crate-trained, potty-trained, and gets along great with other dogs and kids. She’s curious about cats, but nothing too extreme. If you’re looking for a laid-back, cuddly pup who’s as loyal as they come, Georgia’s your girl!
FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping.
For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics.
To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
