My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Maverick was saved along with his Mom and four brothers from a kill shelter. He's a very loving and energetic little man! He thinks he's a big tough guy as he attacks his own tail, then chases his brothers all around. He loves climbing to the top of the cat tree and acting like the king of the world. The little white fur spot on his tummy seems to shine in the dark which always gives him away when he plays hide and seek. He will be a joy to any family that takes him home!

More about this rescue

The Fayette County Humane Society (FCHS), staffed entirely by volunteers, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported entirely by individual and corporate donations. Because we do not have a shelter, all of the animals we rescue live in temporary foster homes until they are adopted. We believe that all companion pets have intrinsic value and should be treated with the reverence and care they deserve.
