Introducing our resident fine gem, Jewel!

This stunning girl made her way here from Texas after being found as a stray. She sat at a county shelter for weeks with no interest, until Find A Home Pet Rescue finally broke her out!

Jewel is as sweet and CALM as they come. She really loves to be with her people, and would love to live with someone who is home during the day that she can hang out with. She also seems to enjoy the company of other dogs.

Jewel is currently settling into her foster home, but would love to find her forever home! She is totally housebroken, and is completely well-behaved when left alone, and does not require a crate. She is up-to-date with her vetting, including vaccines, a microchip, and getting spayed.

Jewel will require a fully, physically fenced yard.

If you are interested in any of our beautiful pets you will be required to fill out an application. We do check references from your application, both personal and veterinary records. We also do require home visits. We want to do everything we can to ensure our pets are going to a safe home....a forever home.

FAHPR is a 501(c)3 non-profit operating in the Chicago area in Illinois and Owensboro, Hartford and Beaver Dam areas of Western Kentucky. Our mission is to help animals that have no voices but ours to speak for them. We operate solely by volunteers. We are always looking for volunteers, transporters and fosters. We are also 100% self-funded meaning we are only as big as our donors allow us to be. We are always in need of donations and supplies.
