Peppercorn is one of thirteen kittens found on an abandoned property. She is learning to love human attention and will start purring once she warms up, though it might take a few days for her to feel comfortable. She will appreciate a quiet place initially so she can become comfortable in her new environment. If you're willing to give her the time she needs to come out of her shell, you will have a loving companion forever.

Go meet their pets

Our pets are currently in foster homes as well as we have a program with the local women's prison. With the prison the animals live in the room with the inmate handler and receive socialization and training. We have just recently added dogs to our program with the prison. Generally the pets are brought to our office for their meet and greets and adoptions. We also partner with Ziggy's Cat Lounge in Bremerton for our cats and kittens.

We are a small but mighty Humane Society serving an underserved county with adoption, spay and neuter, wellness, stray recovery, and other animal related services. Currently we are all foster as we don't have a shelter yet, but we have a 5 acre parcel we are going to build a shelter on. We have started the planning process with Shelter Planners of America.
