Trixie has met cats in her foster home and while she was curious about them she was also avoidant and respected their space. Making sure she gets enough exercise helps her stay respectful of them. She is 'well versed' in dog play and will seek out dogs that are interested in playing with her while leaving others alone. Trixie is still getting used to the leash but has done well on a long line on walks. She loves ground beef and can be a little bit of a counter surfer from time to time but her foster is working with her to stop this. Trixie would benefit from a fenced yard as she is still a little nervous and won't use the bathroom while on the leash.

An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 48 hrs to set up an interview and go over your application

Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!

We provide meet and greets for pre-approved applicants and their families.

Sign Adoption Contract
Additional adoption info
An application with vet/landlord reference check and virtual home visit is required.
The adoption donation amount of $550 is fully refundable if the dog you choose is not the right fit for your family within the first seven (7) days. Every dog is fully vetted, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration.
