Meet Trixie! This adventurous Shepherd mix is always ready for fun—rain, snow, or shine! In her foster home, she has grown into an incredible companion. Whether you’re exploring the great outdoors or having a cozy night in, Trixie is your perfect partner. Don’t miss out on this amazing dog!
Trixie has met cats in her foster home and while she was curious about them she was also avoidant and respected their space. She is well versed in dog play and will seek out dogs that are interested in playing with her while leaving others alone. Trixie has done well on leash on walks. Her foster notes that she has great recall and can play with the resident dog in an open area off leash and comes back when called. She loves ground beef as a special treat. Trixie would benefit from a fenced yard as she is still a little nervous and won't use the bathroom while on the leash. Trixie is house and crate trained adding to just how great she really is!

An adoption coordinator will contact you by email within 48 hrs to set up an interview and go over your application

Once your application is approved, you will receive a pre-approval letter which is valid for 6 months as you search for the perfect pet!

We provide meet and greets for pre-approved applicants and their families.

An application with vet/landlord reference check and virtual home visit is required.
The adoption donation amount of $550 is fully refundable if the dog you choose is not the right fit for your family within the first seven (7) days. Every dog is fully vetted, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and microchipped with lifetime registration.
