***MUST SUBMIT APPLICATION before we will respond to email or phone inquiries. Thank You for your cooperation***
Please read listings fully to the end before applying for one of our beloved rescues.

WE ARE NOT A SHELTER; WE ARE AN ALL-VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS.
Please do not contact us to look at a dog. We will contact you once we have reviewed your completed application if we think your home might be a good fit. A reference check, phone interview, and home visit will be completed before meeting an adoptable dog.

We work quickly. Please do not submit an application until you are ready to bring a new furry family member home. Expect your references to be contacted shortly after submitting your application. We adopt out to homes around WA state & Oregon but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA.

Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, PayPal, if using PayPal the potential adopter will have to pay the fees & charges with PayPal.

How the most beautiful angel ended up in this evil situation we will never ever understand it? Soul destroying to think of what she has been through & yet she still loves human beings even after everything they have done to her. We cannot even begin to imagine what Judy witnessed & heard when she was at the slaughterhouse, how Judy ended up in a slaughterhouse for human consumption & yes you did read that correctly, we will never know? What we do know is, she was pulled out of there by our outstanding Chinese rescuer just in time. It’s absolutely soul destroying to think about the horrific situation she ended up in. Working with one of our truly devoted, dedicated & absolutely outstanding Chinese rescuers she rescued Judy & many others for us. Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting Judy out, her fate was a torturous death. She transferred Judy to her own rescue & covid had hit & the waiting began. Along with Judy & many other sweet souls she got well & they waited to come to the US. This became a very extremely expensive situation with covid. We were finally able to bring everyone back through cargo which is an astronomical expense per dog, but we believe every sweet soul such as Judy & her & friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. On top of this wait, we had to wait an extra 9 months to bring these babies. They were supposed to arrive in October 2022.
Now Judy is looking for a special family to cherish her & be patient with her & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all her needs.

Judy was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough.

Judy was bought back to the USA where she is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find her new loving devoted forever home.

We cannot stress enough how amazing & a beautiful soul this girl is. She loves to be with you & snuggle with you & just be loved.
She will just sit there or lay there & watch what you are doing without a care in the world now. Judy is so easy going & deserves the most loving home. This girl is so stunning inside & out & she has come along way since she arrived from China. The reality is she had to learn everything new here. We put her into a daycare & tested her with countless dogs & she has done amazing. She loves both woman & men. This girl is the biggest sweetheart you will ever meet. She is so forgiving. She just wants you to love her & she will love you back. She adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in her life to show her such true love & affection both her foster mums have said.
Make room in your bed too for Judy as she loves to snuggle up with you & she doesn’t move during the night as she has so much love & gratitude towards her foster mum.

When she arrived she was absolutely putrid, it’s so sad with how stinking filthy she was.
She was a little uncertain with her baths at first but once she realized everything was ok she really enjoyed them & did good being dried with the hairdryer. She is now used to be groomed.

Judy is still learning to walk on harness & leash considering we believe we are the first people to teach her how to go on walks but would still need to be taught. Judy has been taught to walk on a slip lead. Judy is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Judy adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing her, cleaning her eyes, grooming her, she loves it all. She also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love.

Judy eats a clean diet only meaning she eats homemade food, raw fruits, vegetables, proteins & grains along with supplements. She is a wonderful eater & looks so much better since we first got her. Her fur now is absolutely beautiful & stunning. Her foster mums said she gets very excited when she knows her home cooked food is ready.

Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Judy & we have been excited to change her world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. She likes laying on you when she is with you or on comfy blankets.
Judy has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. She is such an easy & sweet going, loving little lady. With Judy we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lady only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this girl. We are also looking for a forever home for Judy where someone is home during the day or she can go with her people wherever possibly he can go with them.
Did we mention this girl loves a good outfit too.
Judy is looking for a forever home who will cherish her & love her as she should be loved & be very patient with her & understanding.

Judy has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & she is currently with other dogs in her loving foster home & enjoys their company so we are looking for a home where she can be with another dog or dogs. She can be found at times snuggled up to her foster siblings. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Judy’s new forever home along with another dog friend. Please do not apply saying your neighbors have a dog or family members or you will take her to places where there are other dogs. That will not work, another dog or dogs is mandatory.

Judy is now roughly 11.8 lbs & is 5 years old & a female miniture poodle & what she is mixed with we are not sure? She is spayed, she had a dental/scale & polish along with dental x-rays. She had 23 teeth removed which does not affect her eating at all. Her teeth are absolutely awful. She had 8 minor molars, 1 premolar, 2 canines, 4 incisors & 8 premolars. She is microchipped, up to date on her shots including DHPP, Bordatella, rabies & dewormed.

We have spent far more on Judy with bringing her to the US with her travel airfare costs, $2200 alone, bringing her through NY into Seattle, without anything else then on top of that paying for her medical care & boarding fees, including a dental/scale & polish, shots, microchip etc, than her adoption fee comes close to covering. Her adoption fee does not even cover her spay & dental.

Judy has been around cats since being in the rescue in her foster home & could care less about them, but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Wawa with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals.

We were not there when Judy was conceived so we do not know who her parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think her breed is.

As with all of our rescues & Judy’s friends she will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Judy potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond.

We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying.

Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Judy & going through our process and have read her listing fully to the end & are wanting to adopt. If you are not responsive to our calls, emails or your references do not respond we will move on & remove your application from our system. You must be willing to go through our screening process which includes your references being checked, a phone interview & a virtual home visit using Zoom to covid & followed by a meet and greet & if it’s a good fit, up to our discretion. We will only be accepting applications for Judy who understands her needs & that meet all the requirements for this lovely little lady.
Once we find the right home for each little soul we work fast, within days so the dogs can go to their forever homes in quite a timely manner. We do not hold onto dogs for people as our goal is to save lives & please do not submit an application if you are not ready to adopt. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately.

Judy has an adoption fee of $1450 & is ready for her truly loving forever home & compassion & understanding of what she has been through.
