NEWS ALERT!
National Geographic Oceanography Team spotted two female Orcas swimming up stream in the rivers of La Follette, Tennessee! They coordinated with the Campbell County Animal Shelter and both beauties have been rescued!
These two sisters were lost at sea but are now land locked and safe. Please meet Leela and Lindsey!
Leela is a white and black English Pointer mix who has decided to give up her mermaid tail and try out a fluffy dog bed in her forever family's home. Leela is approximately 4 years young and weighs 41 pounds. She has finished raising her babies and is ready for retirement with a super fun family. Leela has never met a stranger and gets along with ocean creatures and her shelter roommates. She loves a party and is a vivacious personality that wants to have lots of snuggles, walks, butt scratches and belly rubs. You can't resist this special little lady she is a seaworthy choice for a future companion. Please also check out her sister Lindsey's profile at the shelter as well.
