Hi, I'm Sampson, but my good friends call me Sammy! I am often compared to a caramel brownie because I am so sweet, gooey, and delicious. I came from a pretty rough situation, but thanks to all my friends at the Alliance, I am learning that humans are pretty great! They feed me lots of treats, which is the key to my heart. I am timid and may shrink away when we first meet, but once I warm up, I will give you gentle trust boops with my nose. Once we really get to know each other, I will lean against you for pets and even bounce around and play with you! Lately, I have been following my foster humans around, just like a shadow! Having my dog friends around really helps me to feel confident and come out of my shell. I am learning how to alert people when I need to go potty, but I consistently go outside! I also am learning about crate training, and I don't mind with the help of a couple treats! I love to be cozy and lounge outside, and you'll catch me running around with my dog friends on a nice summer day. Who wouldn't want to have a boy as handsome, sweet, and good as me!?
