I’m Oscar, a sweet, lovable pup who’s ready to steal your heart (and your couch). Right now, I’m hanging out in my foster home in Texas, but I can’t wait to make the big move to Wisconsin and find my forever family!
I was found with my littermates on the streets of Texas, and since then, I’ve been soaking up all the love (and belly rubs) in foster care. I’m your typical puppy—full of playful energy, curiosity, and plenty of naps. But my specialty? Snuggling! I’ve got a heart as big as my puppy eyes, and I’m ready to share it with you.
I’m still learning the ropes, but with some patience (and treats!), I’ll be the perfect addition to your home. Whether it’s playtime or cuddle time, I’m your loyal sidekick, always ready to make your day a little brighter.

FEE INCLUDES: Adopting an adult dog (6 months or older) includes spaying/neutering, vaccinations, deworming, flea & tick prevention, heartworm testing, and microchipping.
For dogs under 6 months, they receive age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, flea/tick prevention, and microchipping. All dogs are spayed/neutered by 6 months, covered within the adoption fee. The procedure must be done at one of our partner clinics.
To begin the adoption process, please submit an application on our website: www.hbwi.org/adopt. Once approved, you'll have the opportunity to meet our available dogs. Following the meeting, you can initiate a 5-day Adoption Trial, allowing you to take the dog home. This trial period is designed to ensure the dog is a match for you and aligns with your lifestyle. After the 5-day trial, if all goes well, the adoption will be finalized. Additionally, we require a home visit once the dog is settled in its new home to ensure a smooth transition for both the dog and the adopter.
