Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Tipsy got off to a rough start in life but she is living her best life now! She had head trauma when she first came to us, but after some meds from the vet and rest, she has made a full recovery and is able to jump, play and balance herself pretty well! She travels well, likes new people, enjoys birdwatching from the windowsill. and has an exquisitely shiny soft coat. She is currently in a foster home with no other animals, but she came from a place where there were a lot of cats, so she would probably do well in a home with another low-key cat like herself or a calm dog.

Please see our website: www.catscradleva.org for a copy of our adoption application and adoption contract. Adoption fees vary, but generally run around $135.
All our cats are spayed or neutered before adoption, and fully vetted. We have an adoption center in Harrisonburg, but we also make extensive use of foster homes until adoption.
We generally prefer indoor only homes, and our contract specifies that the cat(s) will not be de-clawed.
We have some cats that cannot be adopted into an indoor situation. For these, we seek safe barn or out-building locations.

More about this rescue
Founded in 1998, Cat’s Cradle seeks to end euthanasia of healthy adoptable cats and dogs in Shenandoah Valley through aggressive spay/neuter of owned animals and TNR (trap/neuter/release) of feral cats.
We also have a network of foster parents and an active adoption program for cats. In 2009 we opened an adoption center in Harrisonburg. We do not euthanize for space.
Please visit our website at: www.catscradleva.org for more information.
