My name is James!

If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.  

Introducing JAMES, a wonderfully sweet and loyal companion eager to find his forever home. While he can coexist with other dogs, JAMES thrives best as a solo pet. At just 10 months old, he exhibits the behavior of a more mature dog, resembling that of a two or three-year-old. We believe he is a mix between a Dachshund and a Miniature Australian Shepherd, although his exact lineage remains a mystery, as he was rescued from a shelter as a stray. JAMES is well-trained in both harness and crate use. However, he tends to react by barking when encountering new dogs.  JAMES is doing much better with smaller breed dogs  Even hanging out throughout the day with them

Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $350.00

 We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.
