My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I'm Drifter, a dashing 5-month-old neutered male. I'm also a certified cuddle expert and a pro at sit-and-purr therapy! Need a cuddle buddy while you binge watch your favorite show? I'm your cat! Plus, my short tail has its perks! I can wriggle into the coziest spaces. Just try to hide that catnip toy from me - it's a game I always win! So if you're looking for a chatty, loving companion with impeccable charm (and an incredibly short tail), adopt me and let's embark on a grand adventure filled with laughter, cuddles, and a sprinkle of mischief. Paws-itively, the best decision you'll ever make! My adoption fee is $90. If you're interested in adopting me call to schedule an appointment 256-362-5856.

More about this shelter

We are the Animal Control Facility for the City of Talladega. We provide animal control services for the entire county of Talladega excluding the city limits of Lincoln, Sylacauga, and Childersburg. We work with lots of rescues all over the US and Canada. We do some local adoptions but don't have many people come in locally looking to adopt. A lot of our pets are transferred to our rescue partners. We do accept donations of cleaning supplies, dry cat/kitten, dry dog/puppy food, cat litter, and chew toys. We are also always looking for short term foster homes for our pets going to rescues. Usually it's only for a 2-4 week period before the pet leaves for his/her rescue. If you are interested feel free to contact us at 256-362-5856
