For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps West Valley Humane Society with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Teton is a 4-year-old Siberian Husky mix who came into our shelter as a stray with two other dogs. Because of this, we believe he is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other pups. This handsome boy is still getting settled, and we are eager to learn more about his personality.
If you're looking for a friendly companion with a beautiful husky look, come down to the shelter and meet Teton! He might just be the perfect fit for your family.
This pet has been neutered, microchipped and is current on vaccinations! He is ready to join your forever home today!

More about this shelter
West Valley Humane Society is an open-admission animal shelter in Southern Idaho. Serving all of Canyon County, and surrounding areas. We take in the stray, surrendered, abandoned, neglected animals in our community. In 2017, we took in 7,778 animals. We believe that every animal deserves a second chance.
We contract with the cities of Nampa, Caldwell and Canyon County to house stray and owner surrender animals that their ACO's, or the general public, bring to us.
