Adorable Raven is a 3 month old puppy (DOB 7/7/2024) who is ready for her forever family. Raven goes to work with her foster mom and enjoys being the center of attention. One of her favorite pastimes is running & playing with her foster brothers & sisters. She is very curious and follows them everywhere. She has a bit of an independent streak too and can entertain herself for hours as long as she has plenty of toys. She loves the challenge a Kong with frozen organic peanut butter presents. She is submissive when corrected by her older foster siblings. Raven has been introduced to cats and learned quickly she should not bite their tails. She is a smart girl who can also entertain herself. Raven is full of personality and will make a great addition to your home. We think she would do best in a home with another dog. She’s had age appropriate shots. (Remining vaccines and spay at 6 months are included in her adoption fee.) Apply to adopt her today!!

Adoption is a four part process.

Application: You will be required to submit general information along with personal and vet references.

Home visit: Potential adopters will receive a home visit by one of our members.

Meet -n- Greet: All family members (fur babies included) must meet the foster parent and pup they wish to adopt.

Here at Dirt Road Doggies Rescue, each adoption contribution is a flat rate per dog. We do not adjust this rate based on the "popularity" of a dog. We believe every dog is worthy of an owner that sees the value in them. Each adoption contribution is used to cover the expenses incurred for that dog and other dogs in our program.

Dirt Road Doggies Rescue, INC is located in the quaint town of Gillsville, in the foothills of the Georgia Mountains, just south of Gainesville. Our rescues are fostered in loving homes located in Hall, Jackson, and neighboring counties.

We are a small canine rescue group located in Northeast Georgia that works tirelessly to rescue, rehabilitate, fully vet, and re-home faithful dogs that have been tossed out of cars onto rural roads. We are a registered, 501c3 tax deductible Non Profit Rescue and we are licensed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture

All dogs in our program have been previously reported to animal control to ensure they were not lost pups who had a family diligently looking for them. We do not turn a dog away due to breed, health concerns, or age. It is our goal to keep these dogs out of animal shelters, thus saving their lives and providing more time to the dogs already in shelters to find their forever family.
