Here's what the humans have to say about me:
ABOUT SCOTTY
If you're looking for a goofy, fun pup then come meet Scotty! This handsome man is 1 year old cattle dog mix who loves hanging with friends. Scotty came to HAP from a high-intake shelter in Louisiana when they no longer had space for him. He settled in super fast and has been such a lover with our staff and volunteers. While he hasn't been with us long, Scotty has participated in our Doggy Day Out program. Here's what one of his volunteer friends had to say about him:
"Scotty was the BEST BOY today! We walked around Lowe's for a while and he made tons of friends. He was...liked my couch even more. He let me know that he had to go outside to go to the bathroom twice. Scotty is such a lover boy and wanted all the attention and pets. We had such a great day with him!" - Melody
If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.
