Shelley is a very sweet blind 10 or so year old Pekingese. She only weighs about 10-12 pounds. She was a former breeder dog for someone, who was not kind to her. Her hair has grown back and she is healed and ready for a loving home.
She lost an eye, due to dry eye but she can navigate where she needs to go. She is fully vetted, spayed and had a dental cleaning. She can learn the routine and lay out of a home very quickly.
She loves to play with my husband and really likes treats. She barks to go outside.
She's living with four other dogs and two cats.
Shelley is a very sweet and loving Pekignese that was dumped out of a car with 4 others. They were all seniors in terrible condition. She is so sweet and gentle. Her golden years should be full of love and naps
Adoption fee is: $200
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

More about this rescue
CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
