My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm Jemma Jean. I'm a loyal and affectionate girl who has even served as an emotional support animal. I'm crate-trained, comfortable in my kennel, and I love my quiet time with bones or a peanut butter ball. I enjoy slow walks (20-30 minutes daily) and some indoor play, but I'm happiest just lounging by your side. I might be a bit shy at first, but once I warm up, my calm and polite nature shines through.

I'm great with humans of all ages, whether it's greeting visitors with a curious bark or calmly soaking up attention. I'd prefer to be the only dog in the home, but I've been fine with cats and even a bird!

With my past as a loyal emotional support dog, I do get anxious when left alone too long, but my sweet and snuggly side more than makes up for it. If you're looking for a low-key companion to share quiet days and keep you company, I might be the perfect fit!

Medical History: I appear to be a healthy senior dog, I am a bit overweight at this time and should meet with my new vet soon to start a weight loss plan to prevent further weight related illnesses from occurring.

Adoption Fee: 275 + tax
