If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Eli is 5 years old, born in July. He is very sweet so long as he remains stimulated (i.e. puzzles for treats, being chased, etc.) He does well with automatic cat toys and has even learned how to turn on on! Two 15-minute play sessions a day should get him warmed up to you. I would have loved to get him a climbing pole; he seems like he would enjoy that. He may bite and slightly grab at you, but any mark is very superficial. This only seems to happen when he is bored. Unfortunately, I will not be able to take him to an apartment; he can be quite vocal. He is also very food-driven, so treats will win his favor. I will also include some spring toys that he loves to chase, a fishing pole toy, and the remainder of his food. Phrases/words he knows are: come here, come on (if he is on your lap or somewhere you need him to move from), stop, and no. He currently uses Worlds Best Cat Litter, but he has been boarded with clay litter and did not have a problem. I have a video but no YouTube.
