The way to this gentle baby girl’s heart is engagement, engagement, engagement. Summer lights up and is at her best when her humans show her new tasks, new commands, invests time in training her to be her best. She is happiest when she knows what is expected of her. You could say she is a fan of structure and routine. Summer thinks it is the coolest thing when you make some training a game. Her favorites are hike and seek treats and treat runs. Hide and seek -she sits and stays while you hide treats in different areas. When released, she finds the treats through sniffs. Treat runs – call her to come to you with the command ‘here’. When she sits in front of you with eye contact, throw the treats and then release her to ‘go find it’. Other games Summer finds relaxing and fulfilling are lick mats, sniff pads and food puzzles. For true relaxation, Summer enjoys bones, soft blankets, car rides with the window down, scratches and pets, nature hikes, leisure walks, running in open fields, playing fetch and of course cuddles! Summer thinks vacuum cleaners and rakes are evil :{ Commands Summer has under her belt are here, sit, stay, down, lay down, paw, get off the bed, get out of kitchen, go get it. As you can see, Summer is so intelligent! She loves it when her mind is put to work 😊Summer is wonderful with children. She loves to play with them, although she does not know her size sometimes.

Summer is 3 years old, 90lb Cane Corso. She is respectful of her humans and very eager to please. She is looking for a family who loves to train as much as she does, a family who can guide her in new situations as Summer can get nervous and unsure in new situations. A family with breed experience is a must. Summer loves attention and wants to be your only furry baby. Summer is not a fan of the crate, she prefers a closed room with the TV on 😊
