Here’s your update!

Lovely little Lola is a sweet gal who would run to us on our walks because we liked to feed and pet her. She was so sweet we couldn't bear to leave her outside.

She loves to play with ribbon toys and is my ever-present shadow, following me from room to room. She spends much of her time sleeping at my feet while I work and lounging in many places around the house. She's a little goofy and likes to chase her tail (and her favorite sibling). We love her tiny, croaky meow and think she'll continue to grow into indoor life, though she does have her boundaries and will let you know when she's had enough scritches.

She was hit by a car at some point, so she's got a little wobble to her and isn't a very good jumper. The highest she'll get is to jump on the couch or ottoman to hang out with you while you watch TV.

Adootion fee is $150. Lola is being fostered in Detroit close to the shelter.

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!
