Come visit me at PAW - Adoption fee $390 - Hey there, I'm Herbert! My name is very fitting. Especially when you see me in person. I also go by Herb with my friends, feel free to call me Herb if you want! I came into the shelter as a stray. Roaming around Main Street I guess isn't the place for a doggo to be. But that was fine by me. I have been fed, housed, got all kinds of medical things to ensure I am a healthy boy! I was once upon a time trained by someone out there because I do know some cues. I am a pro at sit, shake, and speak. Walking on a leash I could use help with though, I tend to pull when I really need to sniff that thing. I adore playing with tennis balls, they are my absolute fave. I hope my new people will have some at home for me. Even though I am an old man now I still have a lot of giddy up to go! I come on quite strong with people and become jumpy. Tiny humans would not be suitable for me. I accidentally scratch and don't understand my strength. It's not my fault, I can't help it if the need to give you kisses on your face is too strong to resist. I have met other dogs in the shelter and I didn't seem to mind them but I do come on strong. I would need to meet any dogs in my home prior to leaving just in case. BUT I would do well with cats. (Don't tell the other dogs that. I don't want to lose my street cred)
