Mimi is a beautiful lynx point Scottish Fold. Mimi is from Kuwait and came to America for a better life and to get access to a medication not available in Kuwait. Mimi is a sweetest little girl, and when we say "little we mean little. She's a full (maybe) 4 pounds and isn't likely to get any bigger besides gaining a little healthy weight. She's an adult cat but looks more like a kitten. So far, she's been a quiet girl that just enjoys being pet and playing with toys she can bat across the floor.
Mimi has some alopecia, which can cause thin fur in some places and sometimes mild itchiness.
Mimi has Osteochondrodysplasia (OCD) which is very common in Scottish Folds. The abnormality that causes their ears to be folded also leads to cartilage issues throughout the body. For Mimi, this can be seen in her very short tail and all feet which are short and thick.
Nuna's OCD will need to be treated for the rest of her life with a monthly shot at a vet office. This greatly improves her mobility and makes her comfortable. This shot, depending on the vet and location, can cost around $60-$100 per month. She will need to be on life long pain management which currently includes daily medication that she takes very easily.
But Mimi is worth it all. She's a wonderful cat who would do well in almost any household situation.
Available in October.
