My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Laci!

 

Laci is a great family dog who needs room to run outside and bark. She loves to talk to neighbor dogs and has difficulty listening to commands to stop. She loves to play in the snow!

 

She is super sweet with kids and loves her belly and hips rubbed. She doesn’t do well with dogs who are overbearing or aggressive but gets along with other calm, sweet dogs.

 

She does have to eat at certain times, or her tummy may become upset. To help with that, she will come with an automatic feeder, a dog bed, and a leash.

She can be timid and loud with new people but warms up quickly.  

The ideal home would be on a property away from neighbors or other dogs.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Most of our animals need a little "extra" to be successful in a home environment - fill out an app to see if you might be a good fit!

2.

Interview

Depending on your app, we may schedule a phone interview to discuss the particular needs of the animal you applied for.

3.

Home Check

Quick home check to make sure that your place is suitable for their new animal.

4.

Approve Application

After you application is approved, we schedule a time for you to meet the animal.

5.

Take the Pet Home

We require that all of our potential adopters do at least a two week adoption trial period before finalizing.

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

After the trial period, if you decide to finalize the adoption we'll send you the paperwork.

7.

Pay Fee

After the contract is signed and their fee is paid, it's official!

Our support does not end at adoption. We continue to offer donation-based post-adoption services to help the new family. <3
