Hello! My name is Hazel! I am sweet, but somewhat timid girl that came to the shelter as a stray. Now I am in need of a new home to call my forever! I am friendly with most people, but sometimes men intimidate me, so any new people that I meet, I ask that they go slow with me until I am comfortable. Because of this, I would prefer a home that has children that can respect my space if needed. I have a decent amount of energy and am a fairly good walker! I do need to learn not to jump sometimes when I am excited, but nothing that a little training can't fix! I for the most part don't mind the other dogs here at the shelter, so there is the potential for me to share my home with another dog in the future! I would be a loyal companion for someone that is willing to come and meet me! I'll be waiting patiently! Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 43 Age: 2yrs 0mths 1wks

HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
Please call shelter for adoption pricing.
