Juno is a sweet little terrier mix. He is about 1.5 years old and weighs around 8lb. Juno would love a home where he could spend lots of time with his owner, as he cant get enough of hugs and kisses. He adores belly rubs and is a total lap dog! Of course Juno is a young dog, and between snuggles and cuddles he loves to play and go for walks. he is so loving and overall well behaved. He would make a great companion to go on an adventure, watch TV or enjoy a sunset! He likes car rides, is fine to be dressed up and wear a harness, gets along with everyone and all pets, and can be carried without squirming. Despite being a sweet little dog, we would still like to see Juno go to a home that can enforce structure and help him be a well balanced companion. Juno needs to be muzzled for vet appointments that include shots or microchip scanning as the sounds scare him terribly and the sight of the shot makes him react with jumping, kicking and nipping. Outside of the vet, he is just an absolute joy!

R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue is looking for committed adopters, ready to bring a rescue dog into their life. In order to ensure that we find the best homes for our dogs, adoption applicants must go through an adoption approval process. We receive a number of applications for each dog and only one will be chosen as the successful candidate. Candidates are selected based on the dog's needs. Not being selected for the dog that you applied for does not disqualify you from adopting from us in the future.

Go meet their pets

We do our very best to place our dogs into adoptive homes before they arrive into Canada. This ensures that they have a safe and loving place to go after their long journey up North. All dogs adopted through R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue will receive a 15 day adoption probation period. This period starts the day the dog enters the care of the adopter. This means that the adoptive family has 15 days to determine that dog is a good fit for them. Although it may feel scary to not meet the dog before adopting, the 15 day period allows you to get to know the dog within your home. If you buy a dog off of Kijiji or at a local shelter you may be given a couple hours to meet the dog. We believe that our program's 15 day probation provides much more insight into how he or she will fit into your home, rather than. a brief meet and greet.

R.E.B.E.L Dog Rescue was founded in 2020 by a small group of young women with one thing is common: a love for dogs. Since establishment, RDR has successfully found forever homed for over 700 dogs. Our mission is to rescue dogs in dire situations and give them a second chance at life through education and empowerment. All of our dogs come the streets and shelters across Texas, where they are experiencing a dog overpopulation crisis. Our team has travelled to the State to see first-hand how we can help and make a difference in the lives of animals.
