My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Email for details:
Naf Naf is available for adoption in a foster home. If you're interested in adopting, please email us at sdcadoptions@sdhumane.org

How this pet arrived:
This pet was brought in by our Humane Law Enforcement team.

At SDHS:
This pet has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. This pet is now ready for their new home!

Why this pet is the one for you:
We'd like to introduce you to Naf Naf! Just like his name, this incredibly handsome husky can't help but capture your attention. Though he can be a little shy when first encountering new people and places, if you give him some treats, patience, and a little baby talk, he comes around in no time! In fact, his foster tells us that Naf Naf is a bigtime cuddler! He is also house-trained and quite the smartypants - he already knows several basic commands including "sit" and "paw!" What's more, he almost never barks! (Though we're told he does enjoy a good howl when there are sirens nearby - how cute is that?) Impressed yet? We thought so. Go ahead and email us at sdcadoptions@sdhumane.org to get the ball rolling today!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
