My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Thank you Market at MacVicar for sponsoring my adoption fee!
Thank you Pedigree Foundation for sponsoring my training scholarship with HHHS!
Meet Jojo, an adult dog who's as sweet as they come. His personality is a delightful blend of friendly, playful, and just a touch goofy. Though a bit shy at first, he warms up quickly, revealing his endearing, playful side. Jojo can be a bit skittish around new faces, so he would appreciate a chance to meet any little ones in your household before moving in. His gentle, friendly nature is sure to win over everyone he meets. Jojo is looking for a forever home where he can share his sweetness and love. Adopt Jojo, and let his playful spirit bring joy and laughter into your life.

More about this shelter

HHHS has been a permanent part of the Topeka community since its founding May 4, 1938. The organization is incorporated as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) business for the purpose of sheltering companion animals in need of care, advocating for anti-cruelty protection of animals and promoting humane education and animal welfare issues. HHHS fosters the adoption of companion animals into responsible homes and reunites lost animals with their owners; promotes sterilization of animals to help reduce overpopulation; provides a facility accessible to the general public; serves the community with educational programs addressing animal welfare issues; and maintains a fiscally responsible organization.
