My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blinky is a stunning 5-6 month old boy who we believe is a husky/retriever mix with maybe some shepherd. He came to canine collective with 3 other siblings (all known as the Pac Man litter).

Blinky is mostly all black with a white chest and white back toes. His coat reflects a more lab/shepherd heritage and is very similar to his look alike brother Clyde. He is the middle of his pack in size at 39 lbs.

Blinky is a very friendly, affectionate, and outgoing boy, just a typical high energy puppy. He has attended several public events and done well, giving kisses to his teenage handler and enjoying both adult and kid attention.

He gets along beautifully with other dogs. He is very food driven so should be easy to train.

If you're interested in Blinky or his sibs Inky or Clyde, apply at www.caninecollective.org

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
