Im your classic puppyfull of energy, a bit nosy, and always on the lookout for fun (or snacks...mostly snacks). I have a tendency to, um, get up close and personal with other dogs. You know, just trying to make friends, but apparently jumping in their faces isn't always appreciated. Cats? Oh, Im curious about them! I give them space, but barking at them? Yeah, guilty. Just gotta figure them out, right? Now, Im working on my table manners with the kids. If foods around, I used to be all about the pounce-and-bite strategy, but Im learning to chill. Sometimes I even walk beside them like a total gentleman. On the couch? Well, Im learning that snuggling is way better than nibbling on my human siblings. Applications are submitted and reviewed against a pet bio that is prepared by the foster. This allows for a match of the family to the pet.

Interview
Screening questions are completed to confirm match before meet and greet

Meet the Pet
Dog up for adoption, the applicant and foster meet.

Home Check
A virtual home visit along with 2 reference checks is done to confirm safe and suitable home (one reference is a vet if possible)
5.
Approve Application
A call with the applicant and adoption team is held to finalize, and then send contract.
6.
Sign Adoption Contract
Contract and addendum if needed is sent to the applicant.
7.
Pay Fee
After the adoption donation and contract are received, the adoption is considered final. Then pick up the new family member and take home

We use a team to cover different steps in the process so that we have input from several individuals to confirm dog/puppy is a fit in the new family and we have the correct forever home.
