My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Pua and Winnie, two adorable bonded male guinea pigs in search of a loving new home!

Pua, a charming white crested guinea pig, and Winnie, a sweet sheba breed, were sadly surrendered due to allergies in their previous home, but they were deeply cherished. These boys are looking for a family who can offer them a piggy mansion to call their own, along with a diet of yummy and healthy veggies (in moderation) and all the care they deserve. If you're ready to provide a cozy and enriching environment for these wonderful guinea pigs, Pua and Winnie would be thrilled to join your family!

**Guinea pigs are often surrendered when kids lose interest, leaving parents feeling like the pigs aren't getting the attention they deserve. To prevent this happening in the future, we are searching for an adult-only home with no young children for Pua and Winnie, where their needs will always be a priority.**

To begin the adoption process for our small animals, please fill out the pre-adoption questionnaire below. Be as detailed as possible, and keep in mind that an enclosure photo will be required after we receive your form submission.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease
