She’s officially house-trained, spayed, and up to date on her vaccines. Maggie has also had her dental work done and is on a low-fat diet to keep her pancreatic levels in check. She’s been a fantastic houseguest, and now all she’s missing is a loving family to call her own.
Maggie enjoys her morning walks and takes her role as the yard’s squirrel patrol very seriously. She’s also a keen alert for any unexpected noises or visitors. She’s been tested around children and does well with those who approach her quietly and gently. We recommend a home with older children to ensure Maggie feels secure and safe.
Initially fearful of other dogs, Maggie has made great progress and now tolerates them from a distance. With patience and understanding, she’s learned to trust her foster sibling pup, though she may still need a bit more time with new doggy friends.
