Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Frank and Fred are sweet bonded brothers who are playful and loving - they are shy until they get to know you, but aren't a lot of us?! They are a little more plump now then their main photo (scroll through and you will see current photos), but it's such a cute photo we wanted to use it!
We hope you are their forever family! They have very sadly been adopted and returned to us twice! They were first adopted in 2022 and Frank accidentally got out of the house and broke his leg! He received surgery and his leg is totally fine now. Sadly due to a roommate situation and the inability to keep doors and windows closed to keep this pair safe inside, with a broken heart their adopter returned them to us in the hopes they can find a loving forever home that is better suited to keep them safe and loved indoors!
They were adopted again in 2023 but are again being returned September 2024 because we are told they don't get along with the other animals in the home. Sigh.
Frank & Fred need a home where they are the only animals and are loved members of the family. We can guide you to the best way to acclimate them to your home for success. We are heartbroken they are coming back to us and will be in a cage after being in a home.
Frank & Fred are disappointed to lose their home so we hope to find them a new one soon! These boys must be adopted together as a pair.

Due to COVID-19, we are not currently holding in-person adoption events. Most of our cats are in foster homes and we are doing virtual meet-and-greets with them.
We also have adoptable cats at our two partner cat cafes – CatCafe Lounge (https://www.catcafelounge.com/) in West Los Angeles and Cat Therapy (https://www.cattherapysb.com/) in Santa Barbara. You can make a reservation on their websites, or we can arrange a meeting by appointment once you have filled-out our application and spoken to our team.

More about this rescue
Stray Cat Alliance is a non-profit organization focused on educating and empowering communities to advocate for every cat’s right to be safe, healthy, and valued. Everyday, our team works to save the helpless lives of kittens and cats by providing: spay/neuter, trap-neuter-return (TNR), adoptions, wellness care, medical care, and community shelter support. Our goals are to:
-Eradicate cruelty toward cats through advocacy, rescue, and education.
-Find loving forever homes for cats and kittens taken in through all of our programs.
-Help shelters transform from executioners to safe havens for cats by implementing SCA’s life-saving policies and procedures.
-Educate the community about the plight of free‐roaming cats and empower people to take action to stop population growth through spay and neuter.
-Create and sustain a No-Kill Nation by mentoring other communities to become no-kill through our grassroots programs.
Stray Cat Alliance envisions a time when all cats are valued and safe whether in homes or communities, and when shelters serve as temporary safe havens.
