Here's what the humans have to say about me:
**JAKE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Jake is a goofy, handsome, friendly, social guy looking for a loving family! This sweet boy was rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky. He appears to be a mix of several shepherd and herding breeds, with some Beagle or other hound breed possibly mixed in for good measure! Jake is estimated to be around two years old and weighs about 40 pounds. A great medium size, not too large, not too small! Jake is a happy dog that is very excited about life! He loves making new friends and he loves other dogs. Jake is a total wiggle-butt of a dog! His tail is in constant motion, and he always has a smile on his face. It appears he has not had much training and can still be enthusiastic in his greetings and when excited, but he settles down quickly. Jake's ideal home will be with guardians who can help him work on his manners and some basic obedience, as well as guardians who can provide him with lots of exercise and playtime throughout the day. He is crate-trained and does well with his housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. Jake is neutered, microchipped, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, and started on flea and heartworm prevention. Jake is currently in a foster home in Chicago and can be seen by appointment only after an application has been submitted and approved. For more information or an application, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit palsplacerescue.org
• Jake's adoption fee is $375. This donation helps to cover any necessary medical care to prepare him for adoption. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the animals in our rescue. Your donation also helps save other animals like Jake from euthanasia.
• Please email Palsplace1@hotmail.com for an adoption application and put the dog's name in the subject line. Please check your spam/junk folder; sometimes, the applications end up there!
