Are you looking for the perfect dog (or two) to add to your home? Well, look no further than Tony (and maybe even his sister Noel)! Tony is a 6 year old Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua mix and is a solid, muscular boy at 17lbs. Tony and his littermate came to us after their lifelong owner passed away and they had nowhere to go. Tony has the softest fur and the most soulful eyes. He craves attention and will melt into your arms and lap. But he's no slouch either! Tony walks beautifully on a leash and loves to go for long walks and outdoor adventures. Tony and his sister have spent their lives together and we would love for them to be adopted as a pair, however, they are not "attached at the hip" and we would entertain them being adopted separately. Tony may consider another calm, quiet dog in his furever home - if he was adopted with Noel, they would need to be the only dogs in the home (his sister is very protective of him around other dogs). Tony would love human siblings 6 years of age and older for snuggle partners. One of our experienced Placement Team members will meet with you and show you the cat, kitten or dog you are interested in, or will guide you towards cats, kittens or dogs that are appropriate for your home environment. We will discuss with you the background of the cat, kitten or dog and what special needs or requirements he or she may have. We will happily take the time to carefully answer any questions you have or discuss any concerns.
POA does not charge an adoption “fee.” It costs POA anywhere from $100 and $400, or more, per dog or cat or kitten to make them well and prepare them for adoption. We are an all-donation organization and we rely on adoption donations to help us continue our work. When you adopt a cat or dog, we will ask for a donation. Our adoption donation information can be found at our website at www.poainc.org.
