My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is George! I was rescued as a young kitten with my two brothers, Moon and Jasper. I was bottle fed so I’m well socialized and I’m spoiled! I give `best-friend` energy and I’m a mellow little guy that loves everything soft and comfy. I will perch up next to you, lay on your lap waiting for pets, and be the absolute best study-buddy. I love to play with feather toys, play inside of tunnels, and, like my two brothers, I’m not a picky eater. I get along with kitties of all kinds and dogs, too, and I love to make friends! Don`t be fooled by my mellow attitude, I am a confident kitty that will fit in any household that offers me love and a comfy place to sit! I especially like bathing in the sun near the window on a cat tower, however, if a spot next to you is available, that`s the first spot I`ll take. I can’t wait to find my forever home!

More about this rescue

Smittens isn’t just another cat rescue.
We are a coalition of volunteers with a spay/neuter mission, dedicated to helping both stray and owned animals in the greater San Diego area get fixed, receive veterinary care, and whatever else they may need! Smittens works with shelters and other rescues to route cats to proper vet care and eventual homes, and we take in stray cats who need help getting off the street. We also support TNR for feral cats, and assist cat and dog owners to get their own pets fixed and vaccinated at a low cost.
