My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This adorable beagle mix is Vaughn. He is one-year-old and weighs 42 lb. Vaughn is a strong and confident dog who would benefit from an adopter who has dog experience. Vaughn immediately becomes friends with anyone he meets, but does try to get a little too personal by jumping up or climbing in their lap. Learning personal space and boundaries is a work in progress for him. This guy is a total goofball and cuddle bug who is sure to make anyone laugh and be the life of the party. He is incredibly sweet and has a strong desire to please. Vaughn would do best in a home with older children (10 and up) who feel confident managing a jumping dog. He would ideally prefer a home with a non-confrontational, female dog who can match his high energy and physical play style. We don't know what Vaughn thinks of cats, but we can "cat-test" him if needed. Whoever Vaughn ends up with is sure to get a friendly and incredibly lovable pup. Vaughn is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and healthy. His adoption fee is $395. If you would like to meet/adopt Vaughn, please complete our online application at https://daws.org/daws-forms.
