Nakita is apx 1-1.5 year young and 12 pounds. She is energetic, photogenic, very happy, social and loves being the star of the show. She is great with all other animals and kids, walks on leash well and loves being with her person. She is the the type of dog you can take to the park, outings, lunch, she is confident , not shy at all, adores attention from anyone. She bonds quickly . Nakita was rescued from a small animal shelter in Uvalde Texas. Nakita does have some nervous excited energy. She gets excited easily and has some nervous vocal energy in a new place for the first couple days while she gets used to a routine and settling in, but she does so very quickly. She does have some mild separation anxiety which is in the form of barking. When you leave her she will bark but it inly lasts a few minutes and once she knows you are gone and she can not hear or see you, she settles right down with a chewy or a toy. Nakita may not be the best for an apartment with bad sound barriers. She does not just bark non stop. Nakita is am energetic dog and needs outdoor time, someone willing to walk her or bring her to parks or has a yard. She is also very loving though and would definitely soak up all the pets on the couch on a rainy day. She loves cuddles .
