Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Caboose is an energetic 10 lb little boy! He is very sweet and loves his people. other dogs but is afraid of cats. He does his best to avoid them! He loves to cuddle and sleep in the bed. He is a good boy all night long! He loves to play and would love another playful dog in the household.
That said...he hates the crate and will cry very shrilly if confined so he probably will not be successful in a condo or apartment. He also is not housebroken and we haven't been too successful in correcting that. He is due to be neutered soon so that could help but it might be a bad habit by now. He marks quite frequently.
He is also an escape artist and will fly out the door without you realizing it. He is very quick. I can't stress that enough! So no small children unless you have the right setup to keep him safe. His safety is our main concern.
He really is a love if you have the proper home for him!!! And he is adorable!!!
Thank you for your interest in one of our Hero Babies! Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies.
Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.
Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
