My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lindsey, a truly unique and wonderful dog who is ready to find their forever home! Lindsey was relinquished to our rescue when their previous owner had to move and couldn’t take them along. At 3.5 years old, Lindsey still has that youthful energy and playful personality that brings so much joy to those around them. What makes Lindsey extra special is that they are intersex, meaning they have both male and female anatomy. While Lindsey may be different, it’s just one more reason to love them!

Lindsey’s vivacious spirit shines through in everything they do. Whether it’s chasing toys, playing with other dogs, or exploring their surroundings, Lindsey knows how to keep things exciting. They get along fabulously with other dogs, love being around people, and are gentle with children, making them a fantastic fit for a family or someone with an active lifestyle. However, they can be a little shy when meeting new people for the first time. But don’t worry, that nervousness melts away quickly once they feel safe, and soon Lindsey’s true affectionate and lovable self will emerge.

What Lindsey loves most of all is snuggling up with their favorite humans. If you’re looking for a dog who will happily lounge on the couch with you after a fun day of play, Lindsey is your perfect match. They are full of love, and they’re ready to share it with the right person or family. Lindsey’s combination of playful energy, social nature, and affectionate heart will make them an incredible companion for years to come. If you're ready to open your heart to a one-of-a-kind, loving dog, Lindsey is waiting to meet you! Please inquire today!

More about this rescue

Pug Nation Rescue of Los Angeles is a registered 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, care, and placement of abandoned, neglected, unwanted, displaced, and abused pugs. Our goal is to find every homeless pug a forever home; if we cannot do that, we pledge to provide a comfortable and loving place for sick or unwanted pugs to live out their lives. Our Board of five and numerous volunteers are passionate about Pug Rescue and live by our motto of “One Pug at a Time”. We feel that through our efforts we can change many of these forgotten Pug’s lives. In order to find our Pugs a home as soon as possible, we hold at least three adoption fairs a month and also organize a number of fundraising events, including the annual Pugtacular festival and Legendary Bingo at Hamburger Mary’s in West Hollywood. These events and on-line fundraising have provided the money to help pay for vet treatments, medicine and loving care at our Pug Station. We rely on the generosity of our supporters through donations and participation in our fundraising activities. If you would like to make a donation, find out about the next event, become a volunteer, foster, or adopt your own rescue pug, you are in the right place! You can also follow us on Facebook and twitter, there is always something going on and new pugs needing your help.
