Calling all Star Trek fans! (Or just fans of really cool dogs!) Spock is a roughly 5 years old, a possible lab/vizula mix! He has a beautiful shiny black coat, a wonderful smile and a unique front foot, that's split right down the middle, it doesn't slow him down at all and is how he got his name! Spock lost the only family he's known when his dad got married and the wife didn't like dogs. Poor Spock has been bounced around the last few months to no fault of his own.
I'm still getting to know Spock but so far he seems like a pretty awesome dog!! He is friendly, happy, easy to redirect, and loves attention! He also loves walks, chewing on bones and napping on the couch! He gets along with dogs after a slow intro but would do best in a home with adult, submissive dogs. He also lives with cats, but would enjoy a home with no small children please. Spock prefers to sleep outside the kennel at night but does well in a kennel during the day, although he probably doesn't need to be kenneled at all. He is fully potty trained, and seems to know a few commands.
Spock deserves a family who understands him and will give him the time he needs to figure things out in his new life and let him blossom into his full personality. He's a really good boy who just needs a second chance at the good life!

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
