Meet Pegasus, a lively adult dog full of puppy energy. She's a playful, goofy soul who will stick to you like Velcro. She does well with other dogs, but needs slow introductions to humans. Once she warms up to you, she will forever love you. Pegasus is a bit mouthy and untrained, but don't let that deter you. Due to her mouthiness, she would do best in a home without young children. She's deaf, but that doesn't slow her down one bit. Her infectious energy is sure to brighten up your day. She's not crate trained yet, but with a little patience and a lot of love, she can learn. Adopting Pegasus means inviting a whirlwind of joy into your life. She's ready to bring laughter, companionship, and endless play into her forever home.

Our adoption process involves completing a one-page adoption application. Applications are processed within 48 hours.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.

We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

More about this rescue

Camp Companion is a 501c3 organization established in 2003.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.

Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.

Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
