My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mérida, the vibrant capital of the Mexican state of Yucatán, is a modern, cosmopolitan city with museums, art galleries, restaurants, and boutiques. Our local Merida considers herself a pretty cosmopolitan gal herself, having lived with many (too many, actually) dogs in her former home. She is really hoping for more of a boutique-hotel style future home. For this sweet gal, that just means a safe, comfy bed indoors with someone who will adore her.

Merida is a stunning beauty whose easygoing, gentle nature has stolen the hearts of volunteers. Here`s what one had to say about her:

“I met lovely Merida for the first time today. She was shy in her kennel, but easily won over with treats. She was an easy walker and explored a play yard with her kennelmate. She was very gentle and sweet; savoring slow pets on her head and back. She was very tolerant of her crazy kennelmate’s antics. She’s a calm, patient, and tender girl.”

In playgroup, Merida was calm and appropriately greeted other dogs. She was nervous at first, but relaxed around the other dogs and followed them around as they played. Overall, she was very easy going and did great with everybody.

Merida needs FHO surgery, which PACC will perform if she can find a medical foster. Even better, consider foster-to-adopt; which means that PACC covers all costs related to her medical care and you can adopt her once she’s all patched up! Come meet this dainty darling today!
