Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Pleased to meet you, My name is Pippy and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I'm a 12 year-old, female, Retriever/Yellow Labrador/Mixed Breed who came to SB Humane to find a new home.
If you're looking for a golden girl that is experienced in life and abundant in love, look no further because I am the old lady just for you! Here are some notes from my foster family: "Pippy is a great indoor dog who is completely housetrained, calm, and very polite. She is comfortable around all types of people, would be a great companion for another dog in the home, and has met household cats with no issue at all. She enjoys having someone near by, but is fine if she needs to be alone for a couple of hours. She walks well on leash and has great energy for exploring the neighborhood." At SB Humane, Pippy has had a full 'tune-up' including a dental cleaning and extractions.
Pippy is still in a foster home but available to meet at our Santa Barbara or Santa Maria Campus. Please call 805-964-4777, extension 310 to schedule a time to get to know this wonderful dog.
Animals adopted from Santa Barbara Humane have been spayed/neutered, are current on vaccinations, and are microchipped. Adoptions include a complimentary health exam from a participating veterinarian, a starter bag of Purina food, and discounted dog training class fees.
