Meet our adorable senior girl named Grandma! Grandma is about 12 years old and we think she is some sort of Chihuahua and Terrier mix. She came to us from a hoarding case that we aided another town with. Grandma lived in a home with about 12 other smaller dogs. She is definitely the most outgoing and confident dog we took from this situation. She loves to be pet and she is fine being carried around. Grandma is a senior, but she has so much life and personality in her! She is an adorable little girl who deserves to have a loving home of her own! She is a little lovebug who wants a family to snuggle with. Grandma is good with other dogs and we think she would be fine with cats. She is smaller than many cats. She can go to a home with children 10 years old and older.

You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.
An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
