Have you met the JUDGE yet? Despite his name, he isn't here to judge anybody..... this 10 month old Shepherd mix simply hopes to find the loving family he's been dreaming of.

Judge is full of sweetness, smarts and playful energy - and he's ready to shower his new family with love and affection. Imagine coming home to this friendly face, wagging tail, bright eyes full of excitement at your arrival.

Judge hopes to find his forever home in time for the holidays, where he can enjoy all the comforts and joy of having a family of his own. More about this shelter

The Bastrop Animal Control organization became a reality in 1998. We've grown since then and continue to do so as Bastrop County grows. Currently, we have 3 separate buildings containing a total of 90 large indoor/outdoor kennels and 8 play yards. We have 30 indoor cat kennels. We also have a 3 room cattery, that enables cats to live together in colony type environments until they find their forever home. If you have ever worked with or adopted a shelter pet, you know just how much they crave the attention and love we and our volunteers can provide and their eternal gratitude when they find their forever home at last.
