Beautiful and sweet Hart has captured our hearts. Found as a tiny stray kitten on a busy freeway, we couldn't let her sit in animal control.
We knew when asked to take her in that something was different and rushed her to our amazing veterinarian. After testing/diagnostics we received the news she has heart issues. Thankfully we secured an emergency appointment with a cardiologist.
We were told she has not 1 but 2 heart issues. A hole in her heart between the chambers and a deformed valve. Corrective surgery is not an option. She is currently on medication.
We know it is like finding a unicorn to adopt her, but we feel it is worth searching!
We cherish every second she is with us and feel honored to be in her life. She even has a kitten bestie, Soulito. He has been simply amazing with her.
If you can't adopt, perhaps you would consider donating to her medical care. She needs to see the cardiologist again and have more testing done as she grows. It isn't cheap but she is worth it!!!

To apply to adopt one of our pets, please complete our online adoption evaluation form. We will respond to your inquiry promptly. Our adoption fees for cats includes Feluk/FIV combo test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Our adoption fees for dogs includes heartworm test, current vaccines, spay/neuter & microchip. Spay/neuter deposit fees apply on any animals too young to be altered at the time of adoption, and the deposit is returned upon proof of spay/neuter.
We adopt to homes within a 2 hour driving range of MetroDetroit.
