Hi! My name is John Cusack. I was born in early June (approximately) and I weigh 8 lbs as of early September. I'll likely be a small to medium sized dog. Foster mama says I am such a good puppy! But I am a puppy so that means I'm a little more work. I'll need an adopter who will spend time training and socializing me so I can grow into a good dog.
Here are some important facts about me:
* House Training: I can hold my bladder for about 3 hours and I immediately take care of business when I go outside. Foster mama is very impressed with how well I'm doing.
* Crate Training: As long as you give me a tasty treat and some fun toys, I don't mind going in my crate at all. I may whine or bark for a few minutes but then I settle down.
* Leash Training: I don't mind wearing my harness or being leashed. I zig zag around still and sometimes think the leash is a tug toy. But I'm learning!
* Obedience Training: I haven't learned any cool tricks yet, but foster mama says I'm very smart and very treat motivated, so I could pick it up in no time!
* Teething: I'm a puppy so I like to put things in my mouth, even when I shouldn't, especially foster mama's ankles. She says 'no no' and I stop, but then I forget and need reminding.
* Feeding: I eat three times per day since I am a growing puppy. I love, love, love my food and treats!
* Human Friends: I love any and all people! I will give you lots of sweet little puppy kisses. Since I have sharp puppy teeth and tend to be underfoot, I'm not a good match for very young children or the elderly as I may accidentally hurt their skin or trip them.
* Animal Friends: I want to play with my foster fur siblings so badly, but they are all senior dogs who don't appreciate my puppy antics. I'd love a doggy friend who will play with me in my forever home, but it's not required. I'd probably be annoying to a cat.
If you've enjoyed reading about me and think I'm the puppy you are searching for, then please fill out an adoption application today!
