For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
You like brown tabby cats? You like brown tabbies that are two-years old? You like brown tabbies named Letty? Great! That's me and I'm ready to go home with YOU! I'm still a bit hesitant around people, so let's take it slow. But as you know, once we get used to each other I'll be fine. I'm a petite gal, easy on the eyes and lap. Yes, I'm cute as a bug (or a cute tabby cat), and have that perfect look that will drive all your guests to exclaim, "what a cute little tabby," because indeed I am. A napper, snacker, seeker of the sunshine, I'm so perfect for you it's unbelievable. I know, all the other cats know it, and when you get yourself down to Woods to see me, you'll know it too. Primary Color: Brown Tabby Weight: 7.08 Age: 2yrs 1mths 0wks

More about this shelter
Woods Humane Society, Inc. is a nonprofit, privately funded organization dedicated to the humane care of unwanted animals in San Luis Obispo County. Our Staff, volunteers, and board of directors are dedicated to upholding our Mission and preserving the welfare of our present and future animals.
While we cooperate with the State Humane Association of California, the American Humane Association, and The Humane Society of the United States, Woods does not receive financial support from them. Only 20% of our revenues to care for the animals are generated by service fees, the other 80% is generated from fund-raising events, grants, wills, and mainly community donations.
Woods Humane Society is proud to be a leader among the nation’s humane organizations. Thanks to loyal and broad-based community support, and the diligent efforts of our dedicated staff and volunteers, Woods placement rate averages 97%, an outstanding achievement.
None of this work could be completed without the incredible support of our community and our wonderful volunteers.
