My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you a fan of spooky season like me? My name is Jack-O-Lantern and it's the perfect time for me to shine with Halloween right around the corner! I'm here for it all, from going to the pumpkin patch to setting it out on the front porch with a candle and a cute carving! The perfect day out starts at the pumpkin patch, picking out the perfect pumpkin to carve, stopping by the store to pick up some tools needed (and some snacks for me!) getting home and carving the pumpkin, drying out the seeds and baking them for a delicious treat! I can't have the seeds, but I can have some of the inside filling but not too much. We'll pick out the perfect candle for the inside and then set it out on the front porch! I can't wait to hear all about your adventure when you get back, because I can't actually go with you, but I'll be excited when you get home if you decide I'm the perfect guinea pig for you!

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

You are welcome to visit the animals in residence with us on a walk-in basis Tuesday through Saturday 12AM to 4PM. Sunday meetings are by appointment only. We are closed on Mondays. Please feel free to call or email for an appointment to meet our adoptable pets.

We pride ourselves on offering one-on-one private adoption counseling. Once you have completed your adoption application (online) an adoption counselor will contact you for a private interview.

Our adoption fees and requirements vary based on each individual animal's needs. We work hand-in-hand with our adoption clients and hand-in-paw with our pets to make the best adoption matches.

In spite of our efforts, we understand that sometimes relationships fail. If at any time an adopter needs assistance with their new family member or finds it necessary to return their companion animal, we will respectfully work with that client to determine the best outcome for the animal.
